A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow will continue for portions of the Southern Plains through tonight. Freezing rain will slowly transition to sleet and eventually snow throughout the day. Snow and sleet accumulations will be as high as 3-6 inches in some areas of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Strong winds and hazardous travel conditions will be likely through the evening and into the early morning. Wintry precipitation will also develop as far south as North Texas.
