An area of low pressure will track eastward through South Texas and into the Gulf of Mexico. As this occurs, precipitation will spread across the region, leading to moderate to heavy rain. No severe weather is expected, however, some flash flooding will be possible.

Cold air on the backside of the low tracking through Texas will allow for moderate to heavy snow. 4-8 inches of snow are expected across the region, which will lead to travel issues.

An ongoing rain/snow mix across Oklahoma will become rain by late morning. 1-2 inches of snow are possible, as well as some minor traffic problems.
