Freezing rain, sleet, and snow is possible today across the Southern Plains. Light to moderate snow will continue for the Four Corners region.

A mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow is ongoing across the Southern Plains and much of Texas. Temperatures will remain at or below freezing from west central Texas into Oklahoma through the afternoon hours where light ice and sleet accumulations will be possible before the activity moves out later tonight. Across Northwest Texas and Northwest Oklahoma, a dusting to up to an inch of snow will be possible through this afternoon. The most significant icing will be across West Texas where a tenth to a quarter of an inch of ice will be possible through tonight.

An area of low pressure will remain over the Four Corners region for one more day with lingering snowfall across the high terrain. Snowfall amounts of 2-5 inches will be possible from the Arizona/New Mexico border on into Southwest Colorado.
