Heavy rain, high winds, isolated thunderstorms, and flash flooding will continue Friday across portions of Central and Southern California. Blizzard conditions will continue for the Sierra Nevada above 5000 feet, but will begin to improve after midday.

Heavy rain, winds, and thunderstorms will spread southeast through California ahead of a strong area of low pressure. 1-2 inches of rain will be common, but some areas could pick up 3 inches of rain. Flooding and strong winds will also be possible.

Blizzard conditions will continue for the Sierra Nevada as an area of low pressure moves southeastward through the region. Most of the activity should end by midday as an area of low pressure moves southeastward through the region.
