Heavy snow is continuing across the Northeast and most of the rain that was along the coastal areas has changed over to snow. Snowfall rates will be near 1 inch per hour, perhaps heavier at times. Winds could gust as high as 25 miles per hour at times, creating low visibilities and hazardous travel conditions.
