Great Lakes: An impressive lake effect snow event will be underway on Tuesday. Artic air will continue to move across the Great Lakes resulting in excessive lake effect snow in the favored areas. Snow accumulations in excess of 1 to 2 feet are expected in the localized areas that receive the most persistent bands of lake effect snow.
