Light to moderate snow may linger over the Northern Plains and Great Lakes from a frontal boundary moving eastward. As the front moves across the western Gulf of Mexico, showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the Texas coast and the western Gulf of Mexico. Cold polar air will continue to move into the Plains and Great Lakes with cold temperatures expected from Montana to the Dakotas and into the Southern Plains. Morning wind chills through the High Plains will be as low as 20-30 below.
