Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Thursday for portions of the Mid Atlantic. Light to moderate snow will be possible for portions of the Upper Northeast. Heavy rain will continue for portions of South Central Texas.

An area of low pressure over the Midwest will bring showers and thunderstorms to the Mid Atlantic. Most of the activity is not expected to be severe, however, isolated wind gusts to 45 mph will be possible. The remnants of Tropical Storm Vance will continue to move into Texas. Showers and general thunderstorms will contribute to isolated rainfall amounts to 2 inches. Flooding will be possible through Thursday night. Rain will continue for portions of the Upper Northeast and lift northward with rain changing to snow. 2-4 inches, with up to 6 inches in isolated areas, will be possible.
