The activity across the New England region will continue to decrease through the day with the main threat will be strong winds and lightning. A few storms may develop across the Southeast along a front this afternoon. If storms develop, hail would be the main threat. Heavy rain will continue across Arizona as the remnants of Tropical Storm Simon continue to move northward. 2-3 inches of rain with locally higher amounts will be possible.
