Thunderstorms will develop across portions of the High Plains this afternoon and tonight ahead of a weak disturbance. Storms will be rather disorganized due to the lack of vertical shear. Any storms that develop will have the potential for hail and gusty winds to 50 miles per hour. A few isolated thunderstorms may become marginally severe, especially across portions of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
