Slight Risk of Severe Thunderstorms Across Pacific Northwest

Written by WeatherOps | Aug 13, 2014 5:35:49 PM

Thunderstorms will continue to develop across portions of the Pacific Northwest through the afternoon as an upper level trough approaches the region. Daytime heating and ascent due to the trough will allow for the potential for thunderstorms, some of which may become supercellular. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
