Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible for portions of the Central High Plains today. Showers and thunderstorms are possible for portions of the Southeast.

Current NWS Advisories/Watches/Warnings:

High pressure will build across the Western US with isolated showers possible across the Rockies. A lesser risk for severe weather is expected as the best risk for severe weather is displaced from the upper level support. Moderate instability will allow for a low risk for severe weather across portions of the Lower Mississippi River Valley. With any storms that develop, hail and damaging winds will be possible.
