Helping Business Weather the Storm

National Weather Summary for Monday, January 20, 2014

by WeatherOps, on Jan 20, 2014 9:52:58 AM

Lake effect snow will be possible today for portions of the Great Lakes as a fast moving system moves across the Northern Plains today. Up to 8 inches of snow will be possible for portions of the Great Lakes. Elsewhere across the Northern Plains, snow accumulations will be less than an inch through tonight. The low potential for accumulating snow is due to the lack of moisture and the fast progression of this system. The bigger story, however, is the wind chill. Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for a large portion of the Northern Plains.
