The only iPad Weather App that focuses on complete North Georgia Weather Coverage

This “24/7” iPad® App is constantly updated with the latest Atlanta area storm and forecast information.

In addition, WDT powers location based storm alerts from the National Weather Service in the app. The alerts are more precise than traditional county-based alerts. The alerts will signal three tones and push a message to the device if a user’s saved location is inside a watch or warning box. The App streams live coverage of Channel 2 Action News and the Severe Weather Team 2 as they track storms and give out minute-by-minute information on specific streets and neighborhoods threatened by a storm.

In addition to the free alerts, users can also upgrade to a premium alert package for $4.99. The premium alert package offers push notifications for up to 114 alert types from the National Weather Service.
