Helping Business Weather the Storm

WDT Makes 2008 Inc. 5000 List

by Daphne Thompson, on Aug 22, 2008 2:39:25 PM

Washington, D.C., Aug.22, 2008 - Weather Decision Technologies, Inc.,(WDT) has been listed for the second time on the prestigious Inc. magazine 2008 Inc. 5000 list.

For more than 25 years, Inc. magazine and Inc.com have celebrated the remarkable achievements of today's entrepreneurial leaders - the men and women leading the fastest-growing, private companies in America - with the annual Inc. 5000 list. This list is an annual ranking of the country's top 5000 fastest-growing, private companies and also features a special ranking of the top 10 percent of the list - the Inc. 500.

"It really means a lot to gain the sort of international recognition given to highly successful ventures afforded by the Inc. 5000 listing," said Mike Eilts, President, WDT. "WDT is in the right business at the right time. High quality, accurate, and global weather services are in increasing demand by large institutions, multinational corporations, inquisitive consumers and severe weather-trackers alike. We are really excited about the growth we are experiencing as a company right now," said Eilts.

Each year, the Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony brings together members of the Inc. 5000 community - both a new class of Inc.5000 honorees and the list's alumni for three days of powerful networking, inspired learning, and momentous celebration. For the first time ever, this year's 27th Annual Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony taking place in September in Washington, D.C, will be open to non-Inc. 5000 members. The Conference and Awards Ceremony is the only major business conference that recognizes the tremendous achievements of entrepreneurs in America.

About Inc. magazine Inc., the only major business magazine edited exclusively for CEOs of fast-growing, private companies, delivers real solutions for today's innovative company builders.
